jasin1369 I'm so stocked for this album to arrive! I know it's already been released, but I ordered it along with the new Terminal Nation record, which I fucking really am stoked about!! both band's are so amazing & each album they put out are fucking killer!!!

Ippocalyptica On a minute-per-minute basis, these are just about the strongest 30 minutes in a row of death metal that I have heard this year, second overall only to Hideous Divinity’s much lengthier and maximalist bruiser. I really liked Abhorrent Rapture and this is not only more of that, but a better version of it. The production job elevates the impact of the riffs and drumming from merely bulldozing to supremely crushing. And for the first time in a long time, I detect some Bolt Thrower vibes here!

gwcon2006 WV is a consistent and reliable OSDM band that injects suttle changes into their albums that keeps us loyal fans coming back and may interest a few newcomers. Thank you WV for the fantastic DM!

Witch Vomit’s two previous releases, ‘Abhorrent Rapture’ and ‘Buried Deep In A Bottomless Grave’, solidified and elevated their position as one of current US Death Metal’s most potent and direct sources of expertly crafted cacophonous carnage. With a methodically relentless fervor and merciless aggression Witch Vomit have carved out a formidable reputation for barbarism with hooks so catchy they rend flesh from bone.

On new album ‘Funeral Sanctum’, Witch Vomit expand the dark melodicism buried within the butchery of past releases, now sharpened into black obsidian and causticly fused with the band’s hallmark brutality. The DNA within tracks such as ‘Blood of Abomination’ and ‘Dominion of a Darkened Realm’ invoke not the upbeat harmonies one hears in typical melodic Death Metal, but something more akin to the demonic evil might of early Dissection, gleaming in frozen darkness. The gore-soaked USDM ferocity remains the rotted core of Witch Vomit’s foundation.
