David HD Not gratuitously "weird" like their earlier albums, and a bit more straightforward "black metal" (at times) than Värähtelijä, this one hits the sweet spot for me. The droning bass, echoing guitar, raw vocals, synths and space noises all work together to create a perfectly creepy atmosphere. The cover even looks like it could be a Hawkwind album. One problem: not nearly enough surf guitar. Favorite track: Olen Aukaissut Uuden Silmän.

Vladimir Poutine Because it's black metal Pink Floyd from Finland and in space! Favorite track: Reikä Maisemassa.

Bardo Morales One of my favourite bands doing so great. Elegant, focused, mature and immersive...Space Metal at its best. Favorite track: Ympyrä On Viiva Tomussa.
